Description
This is a digital creation from a photograph of the reflection of trees in a a river. When I flipped the image vertically, I could see a pair of eyes, then a face, arms, etc. Or is it just me? You may see more than one face! :-) Seeing recognizable objects or patterns in otherwise random or unrelated objects or patterns is called pareidolia. It's a form of apophenia, which is a more general term for the human tendency to seek patterns in random information.
